7 Waiver Wire Adds This Week You Can't Afford to Miss

If you're still running the same roster you drafted, you're already behind. The waiver wire isn't a fallback plan — it's where championships are quietly assembled while your league-mates sleep. We've dug through the noise and landed on seven names worth burning priority or FAAB dollars on right now, ranked by add volume and urgency. Miss on these and you'll be explaining yourself in the group chat by November.

1. Devin Singletary, RB, NYG

We'll start with the most-added player on the wire right now. Singletary in New York is less about excitement and more about opportunity management. The Giants have shown a stubborn commitment to establishing the run, and Singletary is the beneficiary of a backfield where volume, not efficiency, drives value. He's not going to make your highlight reel, but in standard and half-PPR leagues, a back getting 15-plus touches a game is a startable asset regardless of per-carry average. Rank #660 means he's almost certainly available. Think of him as your RB handcuff who might actually be the starter — that's a waiver wire gem hiding in plain sight.

2. Keon Coleman, WR, BUF

Coleman isn't a dart throw — he's a legitimate WR2 operating in one of the most efficient passing offenses in football. Buffalo's offense has been refreshingly balanced, but when they air it out, Coleman is getting looks in the red zone that no other receiver on this roster commands. At rank #206 on Sleeper, he's still shockingly available in shallower leagues. Stop waiting for more evidence. The target share is real.

3. Caleb Douglas, WR, MIA

Miami's receiving room has been a revolving door of opportunity, and Douglas is quietly stepping into a sizable role. At rank #197, he's available in most leagues and worth a speculative add right now based on sheer target volume potential. What makes him interesting isn't just the opportunity — it's the route running. Douglas runs crisp, pro-level routes that create separation in ways that raw athletic measurables don't fully capture. We'd classify him as a high-upside WR3/4 with weekly flex viability if Miami's passing volume stays elevated. Pair him with Malik Washington (#178) if you have the bench depth — that offense could be feeding multiple receivers weekly.

4. Alvin Kamara, RB, NO

The hot take here isn't that Kamara is good — it's that people have convinced themselves he's finished. He is not. New Orleans continues to funnel touches to him as a dual-threat back, and his receiving role out of the backfield makes him borderline unguardable on third downs. At rank #119, he may actually be undervalued given his floor in PPR. If your RB room is thin after injuries already hit your squad, Kamara is the safest high-floor pickup on this entire list. We'd take him over almost any RB2 available on waivers right now.

5. Devaughn Vele, WR, NO

Here's the contrarian pick of the week: Vele in New Orleans, at rank #209, is being slept on because nobody trusts the Saints' offense. Fair concern. But look past the team narrative and study the role. Vele is running outside routes and generating yards after the catch at a rate that suggests real scheme fit, not just a fluke performance. If NO's offense finds any rhythm at all, Vele is positioned as the clear WR1 on that roster. The risk is real, but so is the upside for managers willing to speculate on a volatile but potentially explosive situation.

6. Khalil Shakir, WR, BUF

Two Bills receivers in the top seven? Yes. And here's why this isn't lazy: Shakir is a completely different archetype than Coleman. He's the underneath, slot-heavy, PPR-monster profile that thrives when defenses bracket Coleman deep. His route tree is quietly one of the most diverse in Buffalo's system, and in PPR formats, he's putting up the kind of catch-rate numbers that make him a safe WR3 every single week. Rank #120 means he's rostered in deeper leagues, but if he's sitting in yours, you're making a mistake by waiting.

7. Kenyon Sadiq, TE, NYJ

Tight end is broken in fantasy every season, and if you didn't nail the position in your draft, you're scrambling. Enter Sadiq, who at rank #109 is rapidly becoming impossible to ignore. The Jets have been leaning on him as the season progresses, and his athleticism as a move tight end gives New York's offense a dimension it simply hasn't had in years. He's not a week-to-week streamer — we think he's a top-12 TE for the rest of the season if the usage pattern holds. Add him before he locks up at 60% ownership.

The waiver wire moves you make now can define your entire season. By the time rosters tighten, injury replacements get expensive, and the managers who moved early will be the ones trading from strength. Every name on this list is available in a significant portion of leagues right now — check your wire tonight, make the moves before the deadline, and come back here Thursday when we break down the emerging injury situations that could reshape the entire landscape before kickoff.
